Well, I got knocked out in the Sweet Sixteen round. I sort of expected it as I had already lost to the same story in the peer-reviewed section, but at least I got one vote!
Anyway no sour grapes at all as I'm still pretty psyched to have gotten that far with such fierce competition! Can't wait to read the FB!
Also, I love that the runners-up got a $ prize! Yay!

Shocked and chuffed and humbled!!! I honestly did not expect this at all, there were SO MANY incredible stories in my genre (and all the genres!) that I think I owe a lot to lady luck. WB is so much fun, Max, thank you for another wild adventure of a contest! Can't wait to see you all back at it in August!
