Update: it has worked in the most basic form!!! I can't figure out how to properly change fonts or colours but it is a start!!! Thank you! |

Hi everyone, Do you usually just link the stories that have made it to the finals or just any story you are proud of? Or do we use the links to lead to stories that are currently in competitions?

Hi! So, you definitely want to make sure you've linked the most recent story so that when you comment on other stories in that competition, those authors can easily navigate to your story to return the read. A lot of us also provide a link to our archive of stories, which is kept here: https://forums.nycmidnight.com/author-archive_topic43498.html You only have so many characters for your signature, so a lot of us also use bit.ly or tiny.url to shorten the weblinks. Several of us will also include another of our most recent stories - especially as you progress and forum shares become a bit more back to back Below, I have my most recent story (MF100), the most recent one before that (screenwriting), and then my archive
