I'm disappointed. Apparently I mistakenly submitted late by looking at a different time clock, so I had no points.

I had a great start of 9 Points, and got some great feedback on my second story.

I will not make that mistake again. 

In short, a lack of attention to detail got me.

Came in third in my group overall. Scored 9 points the first round, and 15 the second. Even though I had a lot more confidence in my second story, I was still surprised to see it come in first place. Here's to hoping I pull a doable genre Friday, lol.

I won group 119, which honestly surprises me because I didn't love my second story. But I am not complaining!

Going through the scoresheet is super interesting. Melissa in Group 96 didn't even score in Round 1 and got through on a 15 in Round 2. Wild!

Good showing this time - but only mediocre 1st challenge, so I am *6th* in group by a mere two points.  Congrats to the folks from Group 53 who will be writing this weekend, and to everyone who advanced!!!!

I missed out on making it to the next round by 1 point, and now I’m a little disappointed. Still, I’m ecstatic that I got any points on my second story at all; I was afraid it might not have fit in enough with the genre I was given. If I hadn’t missed out by just the one point, I wouldn’t have such mixed feelings right now. 😕

8 points in round two!  Not bad, but with my goose egg in round one, that's not getting me through.  Good thing, actually - I can't imagine trying to do this and NANO simultaneously, plus I have a writing convention this weekend...
