The word count of the short story keeps changing, as does the time limit for each round. FF is always 1000 words in 48 hours. Round 1 of SS is 2500 words in 8 days, then it keeps decreasing down to 1250 in only 24 hours for the finals. I’m tempted to try but I agree the fee is a little steep when you’re only guaranteed one story. Not the time of year I can be spending an extra $43. Will definitely be back for FF next year though.

Well got a small holiday bonus at work so decided to enter.
2500 words seems so long compared to these other challenges, but I guess that will be the challenge  Reminder that today is the final day for early discounted registration.
