Oh hey, a fellow group mate already! Quite an interesting set of prompts we've been dealt, huh? My brain's totally latched onto an idea already, but I think I'm gonna sleep on it first before committing to it in full.

Best of luck to ya, I'm looking forward to checking out your story once we can all share!

Me: Phew! Oh thank you.

NYCM: Your genre is romantic-comedy.

...Kay.

Hahaha! I have no idea how you'll handle the romance, but I think you'll do fine with the comedy!

Exactly what I was thinking! I'm already laughing after just four lines, so I'm sure you'll do amazing with a full 1000 words!

AW! Y'all are sweet. 4 sentences? Sure. I can make that funny. That's literally how a joke and punch line work. 1K words? Pray for me!! Ok! WHISKEY TIME. I got this. You got this. We all got this!! Star

Group 24, drama, a luxury hotel, a frankfurter.

NOT my wheelhouse, so I don't think I will go far. Was praying for comedy, romcom, romance, or political satire (especially that teacher political satire, because I'm a teacher!) If anyone needs a beta for comedy, feel free to message me!

Good luck,
Alex

Has anyone here written a dramedy for drama and scored well? (I don't mean a drama with a hint or dark comedic notes. I mean full on comedic drama, lighthearted, fun, funny.)

Thanks,
Alex

I got Group 20 - Horror / a frozen body of water / an underwater camera. I'm actually shocked at how well the location and object go together! Might have to take care not to make it too obvious, though.
