Hopefully the judges like my take on history! I’ve never put so much effort into a short story, so either way I’m proud :)

Earned my fave, lemon/ginger/vanilla tea.

Just submitted my entry, while on an airplane, flying home from a surprise birthday trip that my husband set up for me! Wow, what fun, both the trip and the story. I'm glad I managed to submit an hour before the deadline.

Tee, I'd so go for that sort of adventure and thrill right now. Cheers to you, and happy birthday!

Submitted about ten minutes ago.  Suspense/Diploma/Curator.  I am not sure I hit the genre very well, but 24 hours ago I wasn't sure I'd even be submitting, so yay for me.  My summary has 46 words.  It makes the whole story make sense.

Gonna go grab a cup of herbal tea and watch some Zombies.

Also I have clearly missed something about the capitalisation in log lines. LOLPresumably a judge criticised someone's log line?

One judge told me to capitalize significant words in the logline. The next round, a judge criticized me for capitalizing major words in the logline. I no longer do the capitalization.

Filing "Someday I'll finish a draft with enough time to squeeze in a beta" under "lies I'll keep telling myself". It didn't help that I was in way too deep before I realized that I was squeezing a much larger story into eight pages...ughhhh.

2,000 words in three days is no. joke. Proud of everyone for getting it done!

Success! Just like the first round, I managed to start entirely from scratch in the morning and turn something in with ten minutes to spare. I had a thriller for this round, what fun! This is a big personal win considering the week of the screenplay was a downright disaster and resulted in me not completing a draft whatsoever. It's a Juneshine Hard Kombucha kind of night considering nothing else is in the fridge, lol! Cheers to you all and congrats!
