We're always talking about what's wrong with Hollywood, but what about what's wrong with Indie-wood? (hmm, I just coined a word.)

In Indywood there's no such thing as a bad film. In Indywood it's blasphemy to point out anything wrong with a film; do so, and you're banished from the festivals and forums forever.

Indywood has become a cult with the filmmaker as high priest. Indywood filmmakers should walk around in robes, shaved heads and prayer beads  instead of street clothes. Indywood is the new religion. Its adherents  as convinced of their forthcoming Rapture as any Jesus freak.

Well, then, you're banished.
Excuse me now while I go have my robe laundered.

After he let them cut his hair, I lost all respect for him.

You're too harsh... the guy needed to make a change.  He didn't want to be typecast - can't say I blame him.
