I found my old CD walkman this past summer and I used it as a prop in a play I was in. And I really used it and the accompanying CD case. Most performances I was jamming to Prince, Metallica, or P!nk. LOL

Can't believe I just clicked on this entertaining thread with taaaylor's "the pain of 28" -- my friend, you are never going to live that one down, and how to flush a person down the toilet OMG!

My search was boring in comparison, hacking techniques, which yielded SQL injection which I did not end up using.

Most interesting thing I googled was probably "how to make tea with a samovar." Now ask me if anyone actually makes tea with a samovar in my final story. 

....So can you flush a person down the toilet? Asking for a friend.

More years ago than I care to remember, I took my preschoolers to see the local church Christmas display, which had scenes from the Christmas story. Realised on the way that they had no clue what the Christmas story is (we're pretty secular) so thought I should fill them in. 
I got as far as Joseph and Mary getting to Bethlehem to find there was no room at the inn before the questions started:

'Why didn't they book on the internet?'

'There wasn't any internet back then. In fact, there weren't even any computers.'

'They could have phoned.'

'They didn't have phones either.'

<longer pause>

'So how did people talk to each other?'

'How are you talking to me now?'

'...oh!'

Bless 'em. Nowadays they ask much harder questions and I don't have all the answers.Confused
