Thanks so much for this information. I don't care how many times I change my signature, every time seems like the first time and it makes me want to SCREAM with frustration.

I had a bit of trouble, not with the hyperlink (that bit was very straightforward) but with seeing my signature in the old posts. I found that editing my posts by un-checking and checking again the "Show signature" option solved the problem.
