No, there are 60 groups with 25-26 in each group. You might just be looking at the listing of people who chose to upload their scripts for review. There are several groups who have none uploaded for review even though there are 25-26 competitors in that group.

The forum is a really supportive place for sharing so I don't think you have anything to lose by posting your script.
Last time, I didn't post until round two because I just wasn't ready to dip my toes in the pond. Once I started using the forum I realized it was such a wonderful resource, not only for getting feedback on my script but for learning about what works and doesn't from the writing of others. That said, you will get feedback from the judges either way. So if you feel shy or hesitant, there's no need to dive in. But if you want another way to learn and grow, getting feedback from a wider audience is always valuable and I think this is pretty unique opportunity to do so!

To get the most out of the entry cost, the feedback received in the forum is a massive value-add. The 3 judges will provide feedback, but it’s limited to 1-3 sentences of what they liked, and 1-3 sentences of what they thought needs work. It’s usually good feedback, but it’s nothing compared to what you can get by submitting it to the forum hive-mind!
And yes, it is completely normal to be a lone wolf in your group. This year I’ve seen one from my group (11) and in the 5 years of doing this contest, that’s more than I usually get. We’re a small fraction of the overall entrants, but many of the best placed stories come from folks in the forum. Alexdsut has won 3 of the last 5 comps and he’s a frequent forum user. Good luck!

If someone gets inspiration from your story, that’s beautiful! It means your work was of value and it lives on as a legacy. That’s what we want as artists is to give our goods. When we start protecting our work in a way that makes us fearful of either never getting to tell the story we want to tell, or because we’ll never get credit for our work, we are living in a vibe of scarcity. Live in the vibration of abundance. If someone uses your ideas, so what? You are a channel for infinite ideas. Something you love even more will come in. Not to mention, speaking of the collective conscience, you can’t protect your ideas in that sense because if you’re conscious of it, it already exists out there. And even if someone used something from your story, it won’t be the same.
