If this is a sign of things to come, as a Group 5-er, I'm going to be a lone wolf once again! I hope some groupmates come out of the woodwork so I can see what others did with those dang prompts!

That's how I am feeling about group 7. I haven't seen one. Maybe my glasses just aren't thick enough and I missed them? Possible.

I feel there's far less activity on the forum this year compared to previous years. I recall dozens and dozens of loglines being posted off the hop other years, where it seemed to take days for that to happen this year. Out of the 1,300 participants, the number of us in the forums was always small, but our footprint now seems tiny.

Also the forum is taking longer than usual to open. The Sunday 11.59pm ones open on Wednesdays, but these Saturday 11.59pm forums are usually open by now...  (And I'm also alone in my group, so far.)

First time doing the screenwriting competition, pretty excited about it.

I was in Group 3: Sci-fi | The Last Chance | A Chocoholic

Title: Ethically Sourced Chocolate in the Post-Extinction Era

Logline: When the Galactic Federation’s supercomputer confirms the

rediscovery of the final chocolate bar in existence, a council of

powerful ministers convenes to decide its fate, proving that

everything is negotiable

I'm late to the party. I've been recovering from a film festival that was also this past weekend. This was one of my hardest years. The mixed signals prompt tripped me up until Thursday Morning...the same day the festival started. I did it in two days in the sessions of writing and was able to enjoy a full day at the fest Saturday.

Queen Mary's birthday celebration approaches and her fondness for meat pies is well known.

Group 35
Suspense | An Omen| A bibliophile

When They Come
After the world comes unbound, a
book restorer struggles to preserve his sanity against the insidious forces closing in around him.

Good luck everyone! I'm really happy with this year's entry, found it very cathartic with everything going on in the world
