Also noticed, no political satire or spy in this round.  Thank goodness for small favors!

I was hoping to get one of those!

Rom-Com is a good second choice for me, though. Glad you aren't in my round. (I bet you're glad you're not in my round also, or you'd have to write a rom-com also!)

Good luck!

That genre wasn't even remotely on my mind so I honestly don't even know how to feel about it haha. I don't read sci-fi nor do I really watch it (unless Hunger Games and Star Wars are sci-fi). Guess my first google search will be "How do I write sci-fi?" LOL I'm group 14 and my other elements are a fashion show and a chain.

Write political satire and add robots and/or aliens in a technology-rich world. Done!

HAH! That might be the way to go :-)

Well, you did say your strategy was to write comedy, no matter what genre you pulled.
So there you are! Good luck!!!

Sci Fi (twice in a row, maybe it'll become my thing). Adoption agency. Seesaw. They kinda work together. At the domestic airport so will spend my flight home thinking this through. I don't think I recognised anyone else in my group.

Yes, the satanic squirrel horror-comedy mashup that I planned may have been too much for the judges.

Good luck, everyone!
