I'm in group 17, rom-com also. I said "UGH!!!" really loudly when I saw my assignment. I guess I've been lucky enough to not get it in all the years I've been participating in NYCM so it was bound to come around, but I'm still bummed. I'll try to have fun with it anyway.

Group 60, rom-com here as well... I immediately thought Julia Roberts, then Love Actually. Is that bad? I have no idea what's funny these days. I would have liked a historical-fiction! I'm watching the Crown right now and would have written about Diana and Camilla ending as besties instead of frenemies. Hahaha!

I got sci-fi which is one of the best genres I could have gotten. Kinda threw me though. Complete mental blank followed by too many ideas.
