For better or worse, t'is DONE. I always love this bit. Feeling like you've really accomplished something. Until I read the script tomorrow LOL

How's everyone doing?

Mine too. Tried writing with everything dialled up to 11. My Mum - who reads everything I do for this comp - absolutely loathes it. Which I'm taking as a good sign LOL

Doing OK, but it's at this point in the competition when I really wish I was based in a much more sensible time zone...

I'm a night owl but still, editing at half past midnight is not good for picking up on fine detail...

Good luck all!

Congrats!!!!

I am now facing the dreaded title and logline bit... and I keep cutting everything down!  This may be the first time I have space at the end.  It feels weird!

Done! I did what I could. Trying to make it engaging without falling too far into cliche and predictability. Oh...and doing that in 8 pages!

It wears a brotha out!

Submitted this hour. Did the bulk of the writing today. Was moving home and unpacking the past two days. Feeling spent but I feel like the perseverance has paid off. Dissected myself with my heat genre. Healthy/healy maybe. Like Becky said up top, all will be revealed tomorrow.

You know it's late when your partner turns off all the lights to sleep and then moths start gravitating towards your laptop screen LOL

Submitted! Man, I spent all the first night writing jokes for the dialogue and I only ended up using like two. Had a writing frenzy yesterday and then had to rewrite a few relationship building elements to make a punchline fit!

In the end, at least I am satisfied with what I wrote! ☺️

Submitted! (Until I decide to re-read it one last time for typos right before deadline and find like 12 of them, or worse.)

Historical fiction is no joke. I feel like it took forever to chisel out my characters and, oh, a story, out of the massive info dump that was my first draft. But it got there. Eventually.

Not sure how I feel about it, but I submitted this afternoon, then read it again one more time for good measure.

Best of luck to everyone still writing!
