HA!  I finally let my husband read my story, since it was too late for me to change anything about it, and he said..."But now I want to know what happened NEXT." :D I like that feedback!

It didn't happen.  I just wondered if it would be bad.  Big smile

This is my literal nightmare every time, that I misread the prompt group that I'm in and did the wrong story. I obsess over this to the point that I check the website assignments again and again, and have it written on paper next to my monitor--but still I think, each time I submit: "But what if I read it wrong and am disqualified?"

We won't go into how many times I checked that.

At least I could sleep. I am sick with something (Friday night I had some sort of gall bladder or other sort of gastric attack and basically just laid in bed for two hours, wide awake, and then spent Saturday trying to write SOMETHING and feeling so tired I wanted to cry.) It's bizarre, I'm still not coherent enough to really look over what I wrote objectively, but at least it's done. So I can focus on being snowed in. (Blizzard coming tomorrow with life-threatening lows. Yay January!)
