Signature hyperlink?

When I paste the line, the word LINK doesn't appear. I get this;

Read my Round 1 story titled YOUR STORY TITLE

If I paste with link, I don't get the words 'Read my Round 1' or "YOUR STORY TITLE', I get this;

If I replace the word LINK with the shortened link for my post (http://bit.ly/3qudqoQ), I get this;

Not sure what that gets me, but I suppose I'll know once I post this.

Please help this hopeless technophobe 

Hi Calliope_Calls, I had this problem as well. 

If you look at your profile where you would enter the link, there is a little BB Codes hyperlink off to the left under Signature. Click on that, and it will give you the actual syntax for making a link.
