🎶Guess who's back. Back again.🎶

Now that the holidays are nearly over (and I have a new desktop, woo-hoo!) I am gearing up for the short story competition! I am ready to take another crack at it, and praying to all kinds of beast headed figures that I don't recieve a bad genre again 🤞

Who else will I be seeing this January? Sound off!!£

Hi, pretty purple person!

I'm going to sit it out. I think I'm stronger in flash than short, so I'll definitely be back for next year's flash competition.

Bad genres? I live in fear of political satire. I know nothing about politics!! Embarrassed

I sure am!

After that R2 outing in FF, I'll be giving this one my all. And pray.

It'll also mark the full roundtrip of NYC for me, started with the Screenplay Challenge early 2017, and now this one... A fun ride, I tell ya!

Good luck to all!

I’m in! The flash fiction competition was my first and although I didn’t do very well, I loved every minute of it and I can’t wait to give it another go... but with a few more words this time!

I’ve signed up. I definitely feel like my writing style is more suited to the word limits of short story rather than flash, so I feel a lot more confident :)

Political satire is actually okay for me (though not my favorite), I fear crime caper more than anything. For some reason I have difficulty concocting grand schemes of larceny Dead

Ooh, you should check out the Nog Job from the flash fiction's current final round! The author wrote a crime caper in which the goal was to get the best nog!! Hilarious. I know what you mean... we don't think like criminals, do we? Big smile So it's not natural to write about them!!

I’m in! This will be my second go at short story. Hoping to do better than last year - fizzled out in round one with an hm, although I did have fun writing my first comedy!
