   I had a go at the short screenplay last year, wrote my first two screenplays ever, felt like I really learned a lot from it, and managed to place both times but *just* fell short of points to advance. I was really looking forward to coming back swinging this year but disappointed it was cancelled. I didn't enter the 500-word out of spite.

Haha, only kidding, I love NYC Midnight. But I wish the short screenplay challenge was still here. Just when I discovered it, too! That Ink 2 contest looks good. Think I'll give it a go next month.

	This was also my favorite by far. The first round of the regular screenplay competition requires taking time off work to do justice to. And none of the others peak my interest. Very sad.
