Hi I’m Steve. Flash fiction writer and previous NYCM entrant. I’m running a new worldwide flash fiction contest called The Booby Prize. The 2nd contest starts next Friday. 48 hours to write a 500 word story based on prompts given. There is a £500 first prize and a chance to win a soft toy in a Binus Draw. Why is it called the Booby Prize? £1 from every entry goes to the Galapagos Conservation Trust and towards the conservation of the Blue-Footed Booby. I entered, it was so fun! I got back into writing via NYCM and loved the format of being made to write in genres I wouldn’t usually and with tight deadlines.
