Hey y'all. I've really been enjoying getting into the community here.

I'm in the 2026 Short Story Challenge. I would love to connect with other writers who tend to create progressive, intersectional, queer stories.

I want to read your submissions! Support each other through the challenge! Beta read for future rounds! Chill and commune!

If this gets any traction at all, and people are interested, I'll likely make a discord for us to connect.

Also, best come correct. If this sort of thing isn't your jam, then just move on to another post. Why would you click on the link in the first place, ya weirdo!?

Here's mine:

Are you focusing more on LGBTQ+ writers or LGBTQ+ content?

Hi!

Really enjoyed your story. I didn't really look at what genre it was before I read it so had no idea where it was going. Very much want to know why the protagonist thought they should kill Roger..., and I agree with another reader that it is a great set-up for a longer story, too.

Here's my submission for Round 1.
