I just wanted to wish the best to everyone participating in the final round of the Rhyming Story Challenge of 2025 this weekend!

I feel a lot of gratitude and pride having written alongside everyone in every round.

I hope you are all in good health and are visited by whatever muse you beg to for inspiration Wink LOL!

Read you on the other side!

Well, that is quite literally the closest I’ve ever cut it to submission.

Best of luck everyone! I look forward to reading everyone that posts their entries!

Congrats on getting it done! I breathed a sigh of relief when I hit send about an hour ago. It's always fun, but it feels good to get it out the door.

You, too, Quinnie.

“On the fence” was by far my most frustrating and challenging prompt ever — final round pressure, 48-hour time frame and 400 word limit aside WinkLOL.

Curious how some prompts coalesce agreeably while others are more painful and stubborn to build out.

I didn't love the theme for this one - it took over my story which I'm not even sure ended up being a story, yeesh.
But it's in and that was the goal.
Good luck everyone! Looking forward to reading any that get shared.

I find that when the prompts are phrases, it's a little harder for me. It can tend to box me in. I like that sweet spot of a little word to spark imagination while giving me space to roam around.
