Trying not to get too hopeful but I think getting through to the second round for the first time has raised my hopes higher! Does anyone know what time it will be?

I’m vacillating between anxiety and excitement pretty constantly. I’m extremely proud of my round 2 story (as we all should be); but that doesn’t mean it satisfied the prompts or the judges to the level of advancement. Peer feedback has given me hope and confidence, so thankyou to everyone in this community that takes the time to do so. I’ve only made it through to the third round once before, so let’s see what happens. Congratulations to everyone that has made it this far! With rhyming, I regard getting to round two and writing two stories I'm happy with as a win. How I'm feeling is IMPATIENT!! Results day always seems to drag on for 8 times longer than a regular day haha. My kids are home for a snow day at least, so they've been keeping me busy and I've had less time to think about results. I've never made it to round 3 so my hopes aren't up too high, but I felt good about my round 2 story so we'll see! I'm in Australia, so it's absolute torture trying to guess when the results will be posted with the time difference. I keep refreshing the page  (it's currently 9:30am on the 11th of December).I was quite proud of my R2 Story so I'm very excited to see what the judges thought. Good luck to everyone! Just seeing this post. I was pleasantly surprised that they got the results out a little early. This was the first time I wasn't checking the clock. I had a super busy couple of days, so as soon as I got off work, I fell asleep on the couch. I woke up about an hour ago to see the email in my inbox. I had been a little uncertain about my entry, so I was pleasantly surprised to see it placed. Rhyming is my absolute favorite, so the chance to write another one has me so happy. Congratulations to those progressing through to R3, and to all R2 participants whatever the outcome. This contest is definitely harder work than I expected! 😅 Looking ahead to R3, am I right in thinking the genre will be ‘Open’?
