Have I missed this post already?!

If not... Congratulations on submitting your 250 words of wonder for R1. Yay!

While we patiently wait to be able to share and read the stories in the forum please tease and tantalise us with the title of your story and the first 3 words (or pick any 3 from your story if you wish!).

Please do not post your whole story until we get the all clear from NYCM in a day or two.

My story probably won't be in the running for the most original title award. I did hava lot of fun playing around with the banshee legend, though. Went a little darker than intended, but I'm pretty happy with the story. Excited to read what everyone else did with these prompts, too.

You have to write the raccoon hitting rock bottom. Maybe tell the sad story of Davy Crocket's cap?

I was just looking for your story so I could read and comment on it, only to just realize we ended up in the same group. I must admit I'm bummed we are in the same group (since I know what an amazing writer you are) but am going we can both make it through to round 2 together! 🤞Thanks for your kind comments on my story and I hope you end up sharing yours as well.
