I received a link from a friend to apply to write short
scripts for a company named, NasAcademy, for their
webinars. I received an email later telling me they had
40,000 applications, haha, so much for that.

Today I received an email stating they want me to
do a test assignment, but the deadline was only 2 or 3
hours away. Take a look at the assignment, 3 diff ones that
they want done, would you be able to do all those in anything
less than a week? I mean first I would need to do research,
then inspiration, then the actual writing, send to someone to
beta, revamp, and send.

I replied to their email after due consideration: I need more than
two hours to do any kind of work, and thanks anyway. Will see if I get
a reply, lol.

Thank you so much for applying for the role of scriptwriter and to be a part of the Nas Daily team.
In order to proceed with your application, we require you to take up an assignment which you can find" rel="nofollow - here
Please submit the assignment by 26th April 3 PM Dubai Time." rel="nofollow - Scriptwriter - Assignment_April_2021.pdf | Powered by Box

I received an answer to my email to Nas, they had a teck
glitch and I now have 72 hours to do the assignments! Might
as well give it a try.

I managed to complete the first task, not sure I am
cut out for copy writing... sigh.
The first task was doing a two min bit on John Collins, a paper
airplane fanatic." rel="nofollow -

Here is the reply I got for what I sent them at the above link.
I really did not put that much effort into it, and I am surprised
I am that high on their list, lol. Hurray for the form letter!
Yeah no, if they had hinted at what it might pay, I might have
taken it seriously.

Hello There,
Thank you for applying for the position of Scriptwriter with Nas Daily.

At this stage, we have decided not to proceed with your candidacy for the current opening.
We truly appreciate the time and effort put in the assignment. We reviewed every script that was submitted! However we are looking for a script as close to Nas Daily style of writing!

That being said, we value your time and effort into this process. If you have made it this far, it is because we think you’re very talented and are one of the top 1% of applicants.

More roles will open up in the future and we will keep your application on file for consideration.

We are honored you showed interest in Nas Daily and we hope to work together in the future.

Have a fabulous day!
The Nas Daily Team
