Does anyone in the forum have experience with this competition? I only ask because I have an entry in the current go-round. I haven't come across anyone who has first hand experience. If you're out there, I'd love to know your impressions and thoughts.

I haven't entered one of their short film comps, but have experience with Shore Scripts through their TV pilot comp. It was well run and the feedback was helpful. You were allowed to enter an updated draft as you progressed through levels of the comp. The scoring was broken down as such:
Plot:
Characterization:
Format:
Originality:
Style:
Dialogue:
Pacing:
Current Market Potential:
Hook:
Total:
With each being scored out of 10. Your script is reread and re-scored if you progress to the quarter finals and again at the semi final stage. I have no experience with the short film comp, but can definitely recommend their TV pilot comp. Hope this helps.
