250 words. Seems simple at face value. Not so much.

BUT you did it! You wrote a tiny story and submitted it! I'm super proud of you! Grab a beverage of your choice and tell us how you feel about it.

I almost cried when I got A/A and spent most of the day ignoring it.

I just subbed an ABSOLUTELY ridiculous piece. Silly. Goofy. And no one f*uc#ing dies. Who am I?

I am now having a glass of cabernet, trying to forget I did this thing. Still waiting on one of my favorite betas to get a chance to read, but if she doesn't have a chance, it is what it is and I'll just forget all of this as a bad dream...

I'm here, I'm pouring an Apothic Inferno, and I'm downright giddy at the story I crafted; this, of course, absolutely guarantees that it'll get panned on the forums and trashed by the judges because life! LOL

I've discovered (much to my shock) that Historical Fiction is my groove when I'd always expected it would be Horror or Ghost. Who knew? *shrugs and drinks*

Congrats to everyone who made it through to the other side!

Yum. I like Apothic! I'm an Apothic Dark fan, but it's a great (and affordable) winery!

When my first draft was 307 words, I thought "easy-peasy".

When my second draft was 283 words, I wanted to cry.

I cannot make all the same promises you did, Noddy dear. :P

I have a white from a local winery. My fave, my writer's juice.

Yes! The Inferno version used to be seasonal and only available around the holidays, but its popularity has them producing it year-round now!

I'm going to assume this means you made up for my lack of body count.

As always: That's my girl. (I don't even need to post the Dean-meme.) XOXO

I did the ooey gooey happy thing for FFC. I can't let everyone make it out alive in consecutive stories. It's just bad juju.

Let's not get out of control... I didn't do ooey gooey. <shudders>
Just no one died.

There might have been super heros, so my geek cred remains in tact.

I've got a sparkling rose. I'm also waiting for 2 of my fav betas to give a read and final eyes, but at least it's in.

Congrats to all for a successful submission!

Haha - I had A/A too (Group 5 though) and nobody died in mine either, but I too submitted a weird ass story. I never advance past round one in the microfictions for whatever reason, so whatever happens happens LOL

Very fun to participate, regardless. Now I'll watch horror movies.
