Wondering what people listened to as they pushed through this week?
Today, listened to copious amounts of Patrick Stewart narrating in between various pieces of classical music as I was curious and thought, "I'm going to sit here all day, why not?" But now listening to Richard Hawley and reaching acceptance with my mediocrity (Edited so that it is obvious this isn't about the writing of music!)

Absolute silence. (Well, only when my kids weren't fighting with each other).
But silence... definitely my preference.

I’m a music lover. My incentive to concentrate on this challenge was to avoid music until I had a good draft for betas.
It was really hard since both my husband and son are musicians. |

This. I rarely have music on when I write. If I do, it's opera or classical. This isn't snobbery, it's because anything that contains lyrics I can sing along to distracts me.

I one of those that can't focus in silence. So I either write to metal/hard rock or in this case while catching up on Daredevil season 2. It's amazing I can ever write anything coherent |

Normally Lord of the Rings/Hobbit soundtrack. But this week crashing waves. My thoughts flowed easier, so maybe there's something about nature which helps me as a writer. I will test this further

I did listen to "Studying Music" (search on Spotify) in the Short Screenplay rounds which seemed helpful! Combination of soothing classical music and biofeedback music (which I originally searched for to help my one-time-homework-averse children but since they didn't enjoy it, again, why not?)
