The Cost of Dyin's High and Going Up Death wasn't expecting... --- Today has been a very emotionally draining day. I had commented earlier on the micro prompts forum and mentioned that I had someone very dear to me pass away suddenly. I got the news as I was sitting down to start writing. I was not in a comedy mood, so I went with dark comedy instead. Very grateful for all these bad*ss beta readers we have. Without them, and one in particular who helped me out majorly at the homestretch, this story wouldn't exist in the form it does. I quite like it. And I think the lovely human I lost would too.

Hey, heatmate I wrote a fairytale for my Flash romance genre (not actually about fairies, but certainly fairy tale) and now have a Tinkerbell quilt and fairy wings in my 100 words. Because I wasn't sure American judges would know what fairy bread is, and because I didn't have any inspiration about golfing ghosts on fairways...

You're correct. If I hadn't had an Aussie-imigrant coworker a few years ago I'd still not have a clue 'bout fairy bread or fairy floss.
