Not sure mine will even be considered a story, but I'm still proud of it. Reminding myself that it was an accomplishment to make it this far =)


I did the same thing for mine! The first draft was decidedly not a story, and I think my final submission hits that mark, but it's tough!! An awesome beta pointed out that present tense would probably be better if I could swing it, and I completely agree that present tense is my preferred take on microfiction, but I couldn't figure out how to pull it off before midnight, so I'm just hoping that it reads enough as a story instead of an essay/monologue even in past tense!!

Anyone else eagerly awaiting confirmation emails? I got my R2 email WAY early at 12:10pm (latest I've gotten was 1am the day after they were supposed to go out LOL), so now I'm getting antsy way earlier than I have in the past haha. I'm desperate to read y'all's stories; all of your titles and intros are so captivating!!

AH, me too! I sometimes say my useless form of divination magic is something happening as soon as I publicly inquire about it--glad it worked this time around, too LOL
