Finished my last duel tonight. Absolutely loved reading all of the screenplays this battle. The writing was phenomenal. It is bitter sweet to be done judging.

Looking forward to the sharing forum and seeing all of the other scripts. I think everything I read was either Swashbuckler or Break-Up. The Swashbucklers were so entertaining and I loved seeing the different takes on what constitutes a "break-up."

Love that the genres are different than what you typically see.

As always, thank you Max! 😊

Oof, knocked out in the second round! This was my least successful entry in one of these contests so far, but that's ok. I guess zombie is just really not my thing!

Oh well, knocked out in the first round but I was up against a brilliant screenwriter.
Best of luck to all those advancing!

I made it to the second, and am surprised at that, my swashbuckler just was not anything like any of the ones I read on the forum. No action, no sword play. Still, I liked what I wrote, so am happy enough to have made the second round.

Eheeee, my funky little Pizza Pirates carried the day! Max, if you were just trying to convince me to keep entering Writing Battles, it's worked. :)  Thank you so much for that amazing experience!

Congratulations!  It was such an awesome, whimsical, fun story! Love the "pineapple twist" at the end. :) Well earned. Woo hoo!

Past Winners page has been updated! Click HERE to read the winning scripts and interviews with the screenwriters.

The winning scripts this battle were amazing. I want to talk about them with people haha so please feel free to PM me with your favourites.

Congrats to the four genre winners, some of which are on these forums :)
