I have been reading a few more this week, but have not received any return reads.  The first blush has worn off, haha.

I feel so badly for not returning reads and crits as much as usual this round. I ended up out of the country for a long time! So I figure that I don't have as many reviews as usual, I'm sure for this lack-of-returning reason. Plus, we only had a couple people post from our heat, and personally that's where I always start with my reads.

It is great that you can sort to focus on those with fewer reads; I'll try to keep that in mind this round, and really make up for my lack of reciprocation the last time around.

Thanks so much for the information. :)

Or they are just slackers like me - I am so far behind on feeedback, with so much good stuff left to read!  I had this idea that i'd be able to do a bunch of catchup reading this past week or two as I recovered from surgery - and it turned out they made me take that time off cause I was gonna need it for... recovery stuff lol (yes - recovering just fine, ready for results, Writing Weekend, and another Massive Master list!! Bring it!)

Looking forward to being a bit more on top of it this round!!!
I'm out, but you can read Iratus' Round 2 (Ch3) story, Dangerous Energies, here!

I *usually* try to reciprocate reads at least.... but there are exceptions. My rule is 'if I can't say anything nice, I shouldn't say anything at all.' So, if I 'reciprocate read' something and I can't find something positive to say about it, I just won't comment. Which... I still haven't decided if that's a good policy or not, but I don't think anyone wants to read a barrage of criticism about something they worked hard on.

I'm sorry... [inserts foot directly in mouth] I didn't mean it as a knock against you. I actually haven't read your story. I was just kinda explaining my general philosophy.
