Well, after trying to grapple with Google docs, I finally figured out how to find the comments - I really like the PDF comments better, I have submitted.

Have to say this story was a challenge. Not the having to find a plot, had that day one, the getting it on paper in a readable form was the challenge - I so wanted to start a different story, but my mind was stuck - there will be no soup for you.

Not sure how this is going to read, but I like it as it was so challenging.

Hi there Goldengirl in Chicago
Good for you my lovely. Submit it now as is, while you are still within the time and then resubmit if you make major edits, just in case there are technical problems at 11.59. A friend left submission of her dissertation following a 4 year degree to the last 20 mins then lost 5% for late submission marks as the site went down.

Just a side note, the Golden Girls was a favourite show of mine in the 80's, your forum name has just resurfaced many funny memories. I was in my teens at the time and I actually looked forward to my golden years. However, as they approach (as I'm in my 5th decade) I'm not quite as excited!

Of course! Golden Girls was an amazing show and it still holds up. I even have a t shirt with them on it!

I submitted with a whopping 10 minutes to spare.  I’m looking forward to the feedback. I found mine difficult but I’m proud of what I was able to put together in such a short time.

Good lordy! I had one of the busiest work weeks of my life and barely had time or energy to ideate, let alone write. Cranked out something thoroughly mediocre in the last few hours and submitted 4 minutes after the deadline. Hopefully that's not too late to DQ me Shocked Either way, I'm just glad to have gotten something submitted.

Very eager to read everyone else's work! I hope everyone can get some rest now!

I think if you submitted after deadline, you don't get judged in the contest, but you will receive feedback from the judges. My last submission was 4 min before closing.
