BlueCat has a long and distinguished history of discovering emerging television writers, providing substantive written feedback to every entrant, and connecting winning writers directly with the industry to help launch their careers.

BlueCat's Alumni include:

Eva Hwang (Zero Gravity Management) 2024 Hour Pilot Winner, referred to Zero Gravity Management based on connections made by BlueCat.
Ben Phillippe (Linden, WME) ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING, INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE, LUCKY HANK.
Jane Barr (UTA) developed projects at Amazon, Chernin and Lionsgate.
Aaron Guzikowski (Verve, Lit Entertainment Group) RAISED BY WOLVES, THE RED ROAD, PAPILLON.
Kimi Howl Lee (WME, Kaplan/Perrone) THE MORNING SHOW, SUNNY, APPLES NEVER FALL.
Wenonah Wilms (UTA) TRUE DETECTIVE: NIGHT COUNTRY, DARBY AND THE DEAD, FEM 101.
Kateland Brown (UTA) PRETTY LITTLE LIARS, FAMOUS IN LOVE.

We offer two categories: Hour Pilot and Half-Hour Pilot.

Every pilot submitted receives professional script analysis at no additional cost. After reviewing their written feedback, all writers are invited to revise their scripts and resubmit, ensuring that every entrant benefits from a meaningful development process.

Send us your pilot—we want to help you develop your script!

Deadlines:

Early: February 3
Regular: March 3
Final: April 7
Late: May 7
Resubmission: June 2
