Heat 2 here, and I agree. Not just serious, but a "genre" already overloaded with turgid lameness.
I did mine in about 3.5 hours yesterday. Decided to just pour my revulsion at the topic into it and run. |

Along with other writer-community websites, I use my wife, teenage girls, and whoever else to give me feedback on my drafts. "That really doesn't make sense, Dad", and "Your character was desperate in this scene, then comes off all sweet a few minuites later....big disconnect there" are some of the statements I'm apt to hear, and welcome every one of them. It's also amazing how many "DOHs!" you pick up when reading it aloud to someone.
