Any idea for a weekend activities for toddlers? I have a 35 months old son and I want him to learn while playing. He has lots of books (brainy baby, lets have fun and learn.. etc), children's bible stories (noah, moses, good samaritan) and some lego blocks. Also he has many toys, and he knows how to manipulate the computer. I gave him jumpstart...

At that age, anything is good. Doesn't need to be expensive or too planned.
How about a walk around the neighborhood? Pick up leaves and acorns and make something out of them. Or go to a pet store for an hour (where you can play with dogs and cats and hamsters). Or a quick trip to a dollar store for new crayons and paper. Or your local library or bookstore -- especially if you can catch a children's book reading. Or church with kid classes during the service (you can even become a regular volunteer in the kids class with your own kid). Anything where they go somewhere different and get to look and touch -- it's all educational. Have fun. |
