Oh god, same...  I still don't know if I'd prefer trying to make a LITERAL bucket shop work or try my luck at 20th century diner economics 😂 Good luck group mate!! I can't wait to read yours <3

Wow, I've never heard of a bucket shop before Shocked but Historical Fiction is a great genre. Can't wait to read what you come up with!

I did however think the same for the first round (crime caper!) but I ended up really loving what I came up with, so we'll see...

Hey there, groupmate!  I'm with you on both romance and crime caper.  But somehow I came up with a premise pretty quickly this time (went through multiple ideas last time and settled for the one I could accomplish in the word limit).  Which actually has me a bit nervous.  Surely something will go wrong!

I hadn't either. That's one thing I like about historical fiction. Both as a reader and a writer, you learn new things.

A dust storm
A rubber duck

I’m on struggle street with this one.
T minus 16 hours and I’ve got nothing!
I thought if I slept on it my subconscious would get off its lazy butt and do something about it but no, i still have zilch.

Ghost story / a chocolate shop / strongbox

I struggled with this a lot. My natural instincts lead me to light and humorous. But my story kept pulling a little more spooky. The two did NOT mesh within the story so I had to wrestle with it a bit to make it lean in one direction.

Horror/ a club meeting / a welcome mat

I suspect this is a good set of prompts but I am useless at writing horror.

Ouch

Group 50 - Ghost Story / a wedding reception / a dipstick

I was so excited to get ghost story, but the other prompts have just sucked the joy right out of it.

Group 88: Crime caper/a carousel/toupee.

Thrilled to get the genre I did. Never experimented with it before. I had a lot of fun with it. Well, I did, not sure the individuals reading this farce will have the same experience. I went beyond the Pale. LOL
