Hey Vandy
I'd love to read your story but I can only find the synopsis - is that intentional? I can see it listed but there's no link.
Cheers,
Xanthe
Welcome to the Polisat club! Those are some rough prompts for the genre too.
Thanks! I had a million post-its with ideas, but didn't use any of them. Big smile I made some choices with this story that may come back to bite me. Fingers crossed the judges understand what I was attempting to convey.

Group 5 - Suspense / A diploma / A curator

Antithesis
The curator of a museum of tragedies receives a VHS tape in the mail which unravels the event around which she has built her life.

Creating suspense is definitely a discrete skill and not one I particularly possess, but I had more fun with this than I thought I would. It was also inspired by a dream I had on the Friday night, so my subconscious did most of the actual legwork.

(Going for the worst synopsis ever award. Written under duress while racing the clock/ working on last minute edits! Very Action/Adventure feel to Sunday night all round.)

Hope to see MORE GROUP 27!

The Student Teacher

A student teacher faces grave danger on a Geography field trip.

Will she be able to protect her terrified students and her injured associate teacher?

Hi, heatmate!

I like that take on the prompts. I had such a hard time with "geographer," but making it a geography teacher is a clever work-around!
