Kind of funny that final results for 250 come out before Short Story R1 results. But 150 250s is a lot less than the thousands of 2500s they’re in the middle of right now.

I don't really care if I progress in the short story. I hate that 'subject' is a prompt. It feels way too imposing on the story to have both genre and subject provided for you. One or the other, but not both.
I'd be happy to do 250 again, and looking forward to flash. The micro 100... coin toss.

When you said "I may have been able to write a more appealing and impressive story in my normal style" it definitely resonated with me. I felt that way too. In my case, I will say that the story wrote itself, not like the other two, which I had to really struggle with. So that's a big difference but trying not to read into it too much. I'm curious now as to what you wrote! Hope you share and thank you for the kind words.
