Hi,
Total newbie here! I was wondering if it's permitted or customary to edit our stories as peer feedback comes in? I've gotten such valuable feedback and have ideas for changes. Part of me would like to get any further peer feedback based on the most up-to-date version of the story, in order to see how my revisions impact the read of the story. I suspect that post-submission revisions might be a departure from the spirit of nycm, but I just thought I'd ask! Thank you, Allison

Yeah, it would probably be okay to do that, but mention it in your original thread!! That way, no one will be reading the comments and thinking, "What's that commentor referring to? That wasn't in the story!" Another option would be to keep making edits but not post them and just let people read the original! I always make post-submission changes if I catch a typo or if someone points one out! I've never made major story changes! Personally, I think it would be okay as long as people understand you're doing it!!

Yeah, don't make major revisions in what you post for us to read, but if you see a typo that people are stumbling over, then fix it so they can focus on other issues.

Pithy sayings are for the apt. For a longer message, you need a condo.
