Congratulations to those writers who are advancing to the finals of the Short Screenplay Challenge this Friday.Clap

I will not be joining you but I had a great run and I’m quite pleased with my achievements. I wrote my very first screenplay ever last Jan/Feb in the Screenwriting Challenge and got an HM in Round 1. I’ve learnt quite a bit here at NYCM and elsewhere. Still much more to learn!Smile

Best wishes to you all going forward.

Blessings

WAAAAAAAAAAT! Thanks to marvellous betas (and poor Fred Lial's sacrifice to the craft), I managed to slip through the cracks into 4th place!

Thanks, NilesPerry (among others, you know who you are)! You advice was on point, and I owe you at least a few free betas, for sure!

Free!? You mean I should’ve been charging you for beta services before now?? Lol. If you need me this weekend, just holler. Congratulations on that hard-earned 4th place in this challenge. :)

Where we're going, we don't need genres...

In fact, I believe the final round is always object+location, open genre.

And I dread it. LOL
