Hello everyone! I hope NYSanta brought you all the prompts and ideas you could've dreamed of. I have...written a sentence. So far so good.

I was just wondering how/what is the best way to show a sequence of photographs mounted on a wall. I was just going to use FULL SCREEN PHOTOGRAPH like at the start of Chinatown, but the effect I want is of someone looking from one photograph to another framed on a wall and I'm not sure how to write that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers!

You can do it as an insert:
Character looks at the wall of photos:
Insert:
-first image
-second image
-third image

Can’t go wrong with Chinatown formatting.
Good luck!
P.s. we have a cat named Bartleby. He lives up to his name everyday.

No -- don't use the Chinatown formatting! You can lose points in this competition if you mention "the screen" or "full screen" or any sort of camera shot/camera move (though it depends on the judge).

It's safer to just state it simply, like this:

"A series of photographs mounted on the wall. The first: ___. The second: ___. And finally: ____."

You could also begin the line in upper-case like "A SERIES OF PHOTOGRAPHS mounted on the wall."
