Hey all -
Quick question - As I'm writing my script I'm going back and fourth between using CUT TO: or not before different scene headers. I've read some places that the use of CUT TO: isn't used as much anymore but then others have said it is and I still see it used in screenplays I read. Is there a formal rule for this competition as to whether we should use it or not? Thanks, I hope everyone's stories are going well.

if you dont use it people generally assume it's a cut anyway. I'd leave them out

I don't use a lot of transitions generally and almost none here. There's almost always a better use for those lines.

Thank you both. I will leave them out. I agree, you need all the space you can get for these short scripts
