Yes, I think my heat definitely got the more straight forward of the two thriller prompts.

In an hour or two I'll check the assignments and realize I got my eyes crossed and just wrote a story for some other heat...

Big smile

I still need to cut at least 438 words. Beta readers like the story, and (like me) have a hard time cutting anything. Took a break (Appletinis or equivalent)! About to go kill my darlings. Wish me luck.

Well mine's in and I can't stay for an Appletini, I'm afraid.  Straight back to work.  It was intense. I pulled mystery for the second time in a row,  and while the prompts were good, it was draining coming up with a new set of clues,  suspects and red herrings.
How long before they'll let us post to the forum for this round? I've never made it this far before,  so I'm keen to read the stories.

Where do I go to find the submittable section? I’m worried about this too and I’m new. Thank you

In and done.  I like this story this round, which means the judges will most likely hate it Wink

You set up a submittable account in order to post your story.  Go to their site, log in and you'll find a record of all your submissions.

Still, done now.

I wonder how many will be posted up to read. The ratio seemed low in round 1.
