Hahahaha. Sounds like me. Last time I wrote something based on history, my version of history turned out to be so much more entertaining. Tongue

How many of us got HistFic??? Because I had it, too. And it was my maiden flight, so to speak. Here's to hoping I'll soar.

I think mine is too, but I feel like historical fiction isn't supposed to be silly, so I may have totally shot myself in the foot.

Done ! Back to the question I've seen time and time again - the fine line between comedy and rom-com. My husband thought it "touching" and my heart went oops! It isn't a meet-cute at all.

Besides that - I think it is one of the better scripts I've done. Hopefully there aren't any "unfilmables". We still have at least six hours to tear down and rewrite again, and again.

Well, I have to say, I've never done a horror one before, and I do *NOT* do horror.

Still, I got something banged out, and if the judges don't react TO the horror, they'll react IN horror.
Pithy sayings are for the apt. For a longer message, you need a condo.

It's a nice feeling. Submitting. Until the doubt creeps in.

...and done.  For the next few moments I will bask in the glow of a brilliant work that has no room for improvement.

Soon enough reality will strike, and I'll realize I killed a payoff and left a set-up, or vice versa...too many ideas, not enough paper.
