YUP.
Fastest ever, this one was. I mean, I'll rework for sure, but it went WELL. After sleeping on it, maybe I'll grow to hate it, but for now, I'm weirdly satisfied with my first Historical Fiction. Huh.

In my beta request, I forgot to mention that I'll toss around ideas with you if you need it! Still waiting for feedback on my first draft.

Yah, I submitted mine a few times already. Tweaking it, and I am getting FANTASTIC feedback from my GLORIOUS beta readers whom I've decided are all the Angels of God.

I submitted mine the moment I got it down to 5 pages, lol. That may NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN so I'm taking advantage.

I submitted last night. Not sure I'll even look over it again at this point. I've given up trying to get into the minds of the judges, and there's little time for second-guessing. Especially with historical fiction (a first for me), which requires a bit of research even if you're only using a time period or event and not a person. I almost miss the really old days of having a week and 20 pages. But not really -- hard to get real work done.

Well, I just found another introduced typo when I fixed a typo. Uploaded again. Sigh.

Submitted. Ugh. I don't feel good about it, and may tinker with it again later, but not much. It is what it is. And btw, I officially HATE historical fiction. I researched longer than I wrote, then went completely weird and twisted the past to do what I wanted it to (and to incorporate a bank and a clothesline of course). Whatever.
