When a contest says this, does it mean no more than one entry? Or that your entry can't be considered by other competitions at the same time?
I'm reading over the rules for what will be my first Fiction War in the spring, and while some sites are explicit about multiple contest submissions vs multiple submissions to one contest, the wording here is unclear to me. Any Fiction Warriors able to clarify for me? |

The rules say that multiple entries ARE allowed, but not simultaneous. I've always seen that to mean you can't be submitting the same piece somewhere else at the same time.

Industry parlance:
"No simultaneous submissions" means this story cannot be submitted anywhere else at the same time.
"No multiple submissions" means you can send only one story to this call. Hope that helps! |
