Hi,

Is there anyone who had heat 6 for round 2?? It feels pretty lonely on these forums! Haven't seen any heat 6 posts besides my own! What did you all think of the prompt?? It was quite difficult for me, because I am not naturally funny. I posted my synopsis in the synopses thread, and I hope you guys do the same! Looking forward to reading everyone's stories!! :D

I'm also in heat 6. I also have never written comedy before! And I never want to ever again!

It was bad. Like train wreck awful. I think I have PTSD.

I'd also never written comedy before. I'm somewhat pleased with what I produced. Didn't think I would be able to do it at all, but I did, so that's an accomplishment in itself! But I'm a nervous wreck, because I am not sure it'll be good enough to get me through this round, and I so badly (as everyone does) want to make it to the final round! Guess we'll find out!

Glad I pulled Drama (Heat 1), and I do improv comedy every weekend...  Good luck, y'all!

This heat was difficult for me. Comedy is not my genre. My critique partners laughed so hopefully the judges will too. I'm concerned about the first kiss not being an integral enough part of the story. It's in there and leads to something more but worries me nonetheless. My story's title is Crazy Cat Lady.

This made me LOL.  I think your comedy chops are A-OK.

I'm also in this heat. Comedy is really not my jam, so it was an enormous struggle. We'll see if it's comedic enough to get me by. The last round was much more to my strengths. D:

Yes my last round suited me much better also!

Give me a thriller or suspense or even horror any day of the week.

Just please not comedy. Ever. Again.

I was in heat 4. I'd have preferred comedy straight up. We had Romantic Comedy. In 2000 words? Yikes.
Everything was beautiful and nothing hurt.
