"Vanity, Vanity ... All is Vanity!"

Of course you should fix the typos before you post in the forum!  Fuq how everyone else feels ... I've already fixed the two I found after ... doing major rewrites may be a bit cheeky, but you have to feel good about yourself!

Thx.

All feedback is valid, but all feedback is also only opinion. So, it's there for you to reflect on and decide for yourself if you agree or not. If you've already spotted and reflected on this (presumably deciding to proof read more in future Wink) you may as well correct them and take feedback on the rest.

This has been a fun process so far. I'm looking forward to reading what some of you have written.

Now I'm curious how long we have to wait until the results are out, and we know who's going forward to Round Two... I can't find the details on our 2016 competition on the NCY Midnight website. All I can find are pages on the 2015 competition: http://www.nycmidnight.com/Competitions/ShSC/Challenge.htm

Maybe I'm missing something, or their website is just in need of updating?

we'll get confirmation of receipt within a day of now, and the results for round 1 are usually out a few days before round 2 starts. So you'll be clearing out your weekend hoping you made it through, and not know until like thursday :)

Oh God, you couldn't even PAY me read my script again after I hit submit.

Actually, I lied. We all have our price.

My style of writing is not for everyone, I like what I write and how but I would be hesitant to load up something for people to read lest it knock my confidence if they don't get it!

I will think about it though. (I am totally going to share it, ignore me)

Thanks for the well wishes Pauline!! Same to you :)

Feel like it's only right I add myself to the Dub love-in here :D

Also thought it was unlikely that I should have another person from Dublin in my group, and after, ahem, a quick stalk check on Facebook, we have a mutual friend.

Small world indeed.

I too am a dub, but living outside the pale. Mine is also brimful of typos. At least 5. I was hoping the judges would give some wiggle room. I might use mine to light the fire, seeing as summer only lasted for Sunday. Good luck everyone.

I do the same thing.  Call it percolating...though of course that dates me because so many people don't know what that means lol.

I was directing a play on Saturday night so I had to move my deadline up by 5 hours.  It was rough.
