Just wondering how my other group members did with their stories. I had a helluva time not drifting toward science fiction with that asteroid location. Jeesh! I actually spent the last two days scribbling down ideas, and started writing at about 7 p.m. central time. Fun, but harder than I thought it would be!

How did you do?

I'm group 18, but your genre/location/object sounds bomb! Hope you had fun with it. ^-^

I was thrilled with the combo we got - I tell my kids flash fairytales with random settings, plots and objects several times a week. So I wrote this one fairly easily. I don't think it was the best story I've ever told though :-( Competent, but not edge-of-seat enthralling. It'll be interesting to see what we get next time.

That's exactly how I felt about it! Competent, but not earth-shattering. Looking forward to reading everybody's submissions when we get the okay to share!

I didn't think I could come up with something, but I did! I loved it. My fairy tale is political satire...and it was a first for me. Nice to chat!

A political satire fairy tale that takes place on an asteroid? Can't wait to read it!

Well, I took some liberties with ASTEROID...but I think they are creative liberties!

Go Rocks!
If you're going to laugh about it someday, why not now?

LOL! My husband kept telling me to think outside the box on the asteroid thing, and I did. A lot. But ultimately I opted for the traditional, sitting in cold, cold space, asteroid. Wacko
