Hello!
Has anyone else received the official confirmation email from NYCMidnight? I got mine in last night at 11:54pm but I am always gonna be worried until I see like an official notice that they have it. And when I go on submittable it doesn’t let me open the document again to check that it looks right or all the pages are there so I’m a little anxious, just wondering if anyone’s gotten any emails yet?

Did you get a submission confirmation email from Submittable? That should be automatic if you managed to submit correctly. The official confirmation emails from NYC Midnight don't usually come out for about 3 days so we will probably get those on Wednesday. Once that arrives, you're free to post your story in the forum.

It won't let you open the document IN submittable. You can download it and then view it on your computer/device.

As one of the other posters above said, you can always download the doc in Submittable and check it. That's what I do to make sure the doc transmitted okay (there is a problem once in a blue moon, so it's good to double-check). It's probably not too late to do it now as if there is a problem, NYCM can always resort to the back doc up, if you submitted one.
Not to worry you as chances are 99.99% that everything went smoothly. Good luck!

I was able to log in on my comp and download it and check if it submitted correctly and it did! So I feel much better now thank you all for your help!

I received the confirmation email from Submittable, I confirmed through the Submittable website that it was uploaded and the correct form went through (I have a bad habit of selecting the wrong saved file), but I haven't gotten any emails from NYC regarding the okay to post or yes we received your story only the email received from Submittable. I'm a little nervous because I worked hard on that story and would really like to see the feedback (I don't think it's placement-worthy). I checked junk mail and trash. I'm a little panicked now.
**adding an edit to this Apparently, I'm an idiot, and when I submitted my story and put in the email, I missed an e, so while they sent out the confirmation email, it went into the ether; at least I hope it did, or Kristi got some good news about a story she didn't write.
